Dr. Brent Snook has been the pastor of First Baptist for over twenty-two years.
The mission of First Baptist is to "Know Christ and Make Him Known." Some of the last words that Jesus said on earth before ascending into heaven are recorded in Matthew 28:18-20. "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of hte Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.'"

First Baptist is committed to five purposes of the church based on Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:19-20:
